PERSONAL TRAINING

Plexus is a facility designed and owned by personal trainers. Through our effors to put you in the best possible position to maximize your fitness potential, we have carefully taken the time to put together the best Personal Training Team available.

All Plexus Personal Trainers are experienced and certified through top organizations such as the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

What to expect from a Plexus Personal Training Session:

Our Philosophy is to a continuous process of assessing, educating, and motivating. This process never ends from the minute we meet you in the assessment through each and ever session. We are committed to your success!

Each Session will begin with a 10 minute cardiovascular warm-up. We encourage you to come in 10 minutes before your session begins to perform this on your own. Our sessions always begins with three questions.

  • What have you done today--how are you feeling?
  • How have you eaten today?
  • How you feel from your last workout?

The Objective for today’s session will be made clear to you.

Coaching - Your personal trainer will always describe and demonstrate any new exercise if necessary before you perform it. While you perform the exercise our trainers will coach you on technique and motivate you to give 100%. We will also educate you about how certain exercise relate to your life activities.

Continuous movement - We aim to keep you moving for the entire session so there is not much rest in between exercises. This helps achieve an elevated heart rate and allows you to burn the most calories while reaching your goals!

Cool down - All session ends with a cool down with active or passive stretching. This is the time for the client to warm down and allow the heart to return to a resting level. It is at this time that you might want to share with your coach the following:

  • How you are feeling?
  • How was the workout?
  • Is there anything that would have made your workout better?
